Update

Last Thursday I went back to the  doctor for my post surgery check-up I was hoping for some news good news. I got news but it wasn't the news I wanted to hear. The test results came back with a couple of cancer cells in one of the lymph nodes and it the margins of the melanoma were positive. So now they will take all this information to the melanoma tumor board to see what the next course of treatment will be. It was difficult news to hear. That afternoon after my doctors appointment I started getting sick. I was really cold and couldn't get warm and I was in a lot of pain and couldn't eat. I finally decided to have Mike take me  to emergency. I had an infection inside where they took the lymph nodes out so now I'm trying to recover from that. The wait is on to hear from the doctor after the tumor board meets either this Thursday or next.

    I'm sorry Melanie. That is difficult news to hear. There are so many different things that can be done for cancer. Praying for you. May you find peace healing and comfort through your journey! Lots of ❤️ love, Lori

    Had an interesting day in UofU er. It was 4am by time she got a hospital bed brought in to sleep in. It was 7am when a young doctor flipped the lights on and woke us up. They soon took her to place the drainage tube into drain the infection. We are so great full for the doctors and nurses at Davis, UofU and Huntsman hospitals.
